On February 20, 2010, the second MaMachinima Int. Festival is taking place.
MMIF 2010 will be - again - a celebration of the best machinima's around! http://MMIF.org is the website that will show details.

The festival takes place from CET 20.00 - 04.00 (11 am till 5 pm sl time) (+ a good afterparty).

The MMIF is a celebration of machinima: a new cinematic art form, created with 3D virtual worlds and computer games. MMIF 2010 aims to bring machinima to a wider audience, online and offline. It is set up as a way to share, show and educate - to become a machinima-community. Same as last year, it will be a mixed-reality event - simultanuously taking place in Amsterdam NL and in Second Life.

this year we aim for 42 films (7 per hour), thus creating a bit more time for the Machinimatographers and crews to come on the stage and talk about their production, and answer questions form the rl and sl audience. An excellent chance to interact, communicate. Each machinimatographer gets to enter ONE work. Submission for now is on my invitation only, but I will gladly accept recommendations/suggestions.
There is plenty of good work around that has to be discovered!
